Why do I have to verify my phone number?

There are two unique identifiers with your Homeslice account. They are your email address and your phone number.

Rest assured—your email and phone number are never shared with anyone without your approval.

Your phone number is not needed to have a Homeslice account. However, you may choose to receive notifications via text instead of email. You may want to have a phone number on record so a Professional can contact you if you ask for a quote.

The verification process is very simple. After you enter your phone number, we'll send you a text with a six-digit code. You simply enter the code we send you, and that will verify your phone number.

If you change your phone number, you'll have to re-verify the new number before you can use it.
